Vilas County issues zoning permits and conducts on-site inspections for compliance with the County's Zoning and Sanitary Ordinances. Please contact the Zoning Administrator or Zoning Deputy for more information about obtaining a permit.

In addition to Vilas County permits, building permits and UDC permits are issued by the Town's Uniform Dwelling Code Officer. The UDC Officer holds office hours at the Boulder Junction Community Center on Thursdays from 10:00 am to 11:30 am, except during the winter months. Otherwise he may be reached as follows:
