Boulder Junction, WI —The Boulder Junction Chamber of Commerce and the Town of Boulder Junction are pleased to announce the much anticipated expansion of our paved bike and hike trail system. Trail users can now ride the trail north of Main Street along Highway M, 2.5 miles, to Dairymen’s Road and west of Main Street along Highway K, 1.2 miles, to Camp Manito-wish YMCA.This trail system is part of “The Heart of Vilas County Bike & Hike Trail System” which is now a combined 33 miles of paved trails running through Boulder Junction, Sayner and St. Germain. The paved trails are suitable for bicycles of all types, including road bikes, and are perfect for a family ride or hike.Additionally paved trails are handicapped friendly and we welcome and encourage people who require wheelchairs or power wheelchairs.

Youth Baseball Program

T-ball: Ages 4 to 8
Kid's ball: Ages 9 to 12

We are very fortunate to have top quality individuals that have volunteered to coach our children.
Raphael Moraczewski will be coaching T-ball and kids ball along with the assistance of other volunteers.

All kids that participate in the competitive baseball program must be registered with the fee paid. We ask that all children registered attend the practices. The emphasis of the program will be to give all participating children the greatest possible opportunity to play, but attendance at practices will affect playing opportunities.

The Town has assisted the Snowmobile Club by financing their equipment loans as a courtesy and to help promote our area’s tourism.

The Snowmobile Club reimburses the Town for loan payments and other expenditures, such as, gasoline and heat for their barn that houses the equipment.  This year, the Town refinanced the only remaining snowmobile equipment loan with a new State Trust Fund Loan.

The new warming shelter at Winterpark is ready for the upcoming winter season.  Be sure to stop by during the season to use the outdoor ice rink, sledding hill and cross country ski trail.
